Henry isn’t s bruiser between the tackles but he can be an effective back. Lewis is just fast twitch and effective in small space in between the tackles. But if you use them both correctly they can both be effective and you have insurance during injuries. It is true, look at where most of his stats come from. And Henry and Lewis are not interchangable. If Lewis goes down Henry cant be as effective in the passing game, catching or blocking. The gameplan would change.

The rest think he adds value. Even if he’s not the league rushing leader. And he’s actually a good pass catcher and good I’m open space but whatever So youre saying that since Henrys been here sucess has not come mostly in the 4th quarter? He can catch the ball but hes just not agile like Lewis before after the catch. Two complete different animals.

Backs don’t have to have the same style or strengths to be interchangeable. You game plan to your healthy personnel’s strengths. Obviously they have different skill sets Go look up his damn stats and look where its mostly come from you dumbass, mostly when we have a lead. They do need to have the same skillset to be interchangable, if one cant pass block then that changes everything.

pat
Plenty of tomato cans get stuffed behind the line with a lead. Henry extends the lead and wins games. We've got a good backfield this year. Let's enjoy it. freakingeek, and TitanedUpSince'70
Alcibiades
Getting yards running when you have a league is hugely important. Henry is an important part of this offense, but they are right to start Lewis right now. Finish with Henry. It's working well. Teams know we plan to run to protect our lead, and Henry still gets it done. That's impressive. pat
pat
3rd and 4th quarter runs aren't garbage carries, it's how games are won. Last thing a trailing opponent wants is to give up a first down along with 2 minutes of clock. This is why Eddie George in his prime won more games than Chris Johnson in his prime. Point taken, But the reason George won more games is because McNair was the QB instead of Vince Young or Collins. IsntLifeFunny
