Doesn't seem like she's the one that failed math. We could do this relatively easily.

TN already offers free community college to adults. Haven't looked into the specifics. Others could do it. The more expensive colleges wouldn't need to be free.

In terms of healthcare, your premium would essentially turn into a cheaper tax. Those that make a certain income would get it for "free". Then once everyone is covered so no one is going to the ER for simple stuff and unable to pay (thus shifting costs to us), healthcare costs in general would go down.

Unlikely to happen anytime soon though. Too easily billed as socialist.

Failed math is promising the sheep that a tax cut will put $4000 in their pocket when all the money ends up going to the Sheldon Addelson's of the world.

Saps.

Did she fail to provide a specific plan? Yes.

Does that mean she fails math and economics? No.

She’s right that we could pay for college tuition at state universities and single payer health care. It wouldn’t require “printing money.”

So how do you accomplish this without continuing to incentivize laziness?

Also, I would imagine she wont be a fan favorite when it comes to taxes....You cant implement this and not expect taxes to go up. They will have to offset the spending somehow. Even if it is feasible, you know they will.

So the working ppl that wont qualify (which there are more of than not) are now going to be pissed because they will be paying more for others who only want to work 20 hours a week. So now instead of tax payers putting food on others tables, we can support their ability to not be as cautious with their health.

Also, a lot of you bitch quite regularly about Trumps/GOP spending.

How do you achieve this and not spend more than any other administration?

This isn't a situation where you can have your cake and eat it too.

Reckless spending along with fiscal irresponsibility and unnecessary tax cuts is a recipe for disaster.

Which is exactly what happened this year while republicans controlled both houses of congress and the white house.

Speaking of failed promises. Anyone talking about Mexico paying for that wall? How about that awesome super secret GOP plan to repeal and replace the ACA?

Remember earlier this year when Trump said the tax cut would put $4000 in the average person's pocket?

Remember when the Sec. of the Treasury, Steve Mnuchin, said the tax cut would pay for itself with new revenue?

Remember when Trump said trade wars were easy to win, but now we are bailing out the farmers?

That's the real failed math.

Que....what about, what about.....
