Firkser and Batson to the practice squad.

Also signed former Texans DL Darius Kilgo to the practice squad and cut Jerome Cunningham off the practice squad.

I don't think Wallace is practice squad eligible - he's currently on waivers.

Sucks about Wallace. Hoped he would make an impact, but Correa made him expendable.

Well technically, Finch made him replaceable.

Although Correa is similar in that they both can play outside and inside.

was some speculation that Fluellen picked up an injury against the Texans, adding Dawkins to the 53 man roster might be an indication Fluellen did indeed pick up some kind of injury.

It wasn't speculated. It was reported that he was injured during the game, and the nature of his injury will be revealed in the injury report tomorrow.

Isn't Correa an outside guy though?

Here in TN, they have Correa focused on the outside until he settles in. Then presumably he could play inside in packages or in a pinch later on.

In Baltimore, they had him playing both. Last year he was primarily an inside guy, and then this offseason they moved him back outside primarily.

He's played pretty well so far on the outside. Wallace was solely an outside guy, which is why I thought Correa made him expendable. But Finch is also outside so I guess they both made him expendable.

It's nice ro have some quality depth at OLB for a change. Now if we could just solve that problem for ILB. If Correa can get to where he can play inside that'll help.

Wallace could play both outside and inside.

What we need at ILB is better starters. That is, need Evans to step up and need a replacement for Woodyard next year. Compton, Brown, Bates are good depth players at ILB.

Hopefully fans realize Brown isn't some diamond in the rough ready to explode. He's a part time player.
