... This seems quite bad. The way they've treated it honestly does seem inline with it being the more serious type.

Well, other than them sticking with Gabbert and Mariota and claiming Mariota will play?

I'm confused!

The worse news is if he can't grip the ball normally now, it could take a substantial amount of time to return. And it might never return.

When motor strength is affected, it either returns in seconds/minutes/hours (like a typical stinger). If it lasts longer than that, it can take weeks/months or longer.

Now that it seems to have lasted a week, the Titans have a bigger issue that could affect Mariota beyond this game.

The hope is that what is meant by being unable to grip the ball normally is that he can still grip the ball well but just not at 100 percent. Like someone saying a player is not at full speed and can't run a 4.3 40-yard dash but he could run 4.4.

If this is not the case, this could be a looming big problem for Mariota and the Titans for some time to come. If he plays against the Texans, his accuracy should be a telltale sign.

Landry looked like a legit 12+ sack guy out there in limited reps.

that article sounds a little ominous for Mariota's near term prospects.

Like I said a couple days ago - could be a much bigger issue than people want to admit.

This is lucky for Vrabel/Robinson though, in a way, they’ll get to use this as an excuse for taking a playoff contending team and turning it into a (potentially) losing team - if things shake out that way.

Rapoport keeps reporting that the QBs will rotate in and out with gabbert taking over on passing downs. That would be completely idiotic.

If Vrabel actually does this...

Here's the tweet where he mentions this. It's beyond fucking stupid. If Vrabel tries to run that sort of offense, then this franchise is in deep shit. JRob would have to answer big time for it as well.

Going with not true and it's just the Titans trying to fuck with the Texans.
