For the resident Trump supporters...

All 7 of you. Every thread where someone is critical of trump, each and every one of you are quick to chime in and defend trump for whatever idiotic comments he’s said or idiotic decision he’s made.

It’s literally impossible to support every single decision, comment, position a politician has. Every candidate I’ve ever supported there have been flaws in or ideologies with which I did not agree.

In this thread, I want you to be brutally honest. I want you to identify something about trump — this can be a position, a comment, a decision, etc. — that do not agree with trump on. Identify that something, express it herein, and explain what about it you do not like and What you wish trump would have done differently.

The key of this exercise is objectivity.

He hasn't locked up Hillary or Obama. Even Obama is running around without an ankle bracelet to monitor his Kenyan, socialist, deep state activities.

1. There are more. Just too much of a pussy to take on the ignorant rhetoric those who disagree throw out.

2. A lot of, if not all of us have acknowledged he says dumbass and miscalculated things.

Really, if this is how you want to play it, stop exaggerating and keep it real.

You would think the opposite holds true. Can you possibly disagree with every single decision, comment, position a politician holds?

Because a lot of the anti Trumpers show that it is possible. If that's the case, maybe you're wrong in your opinion that you cant always agree.

Also, I'm willing to bet a lot of us have disagreed with some positions/decisions. And most definitley some comments. But I do really respect the man for not feeling the pressure to be totally PC, even if there were things he said that I did not agree with.

Me personally, I think the whole space force thing is a waste.

Also, I am very indifferent on the Dakota pipeline. I think we need to be able to access the oil, but I am not comfortable with displacing the natives whose land should be protected.

Now, let's see if the opposite holds true. What do you agree with Trump on....

When Trump was on the campaign trail one of his stances was term limits in Congress. I was 100% supportive of that. I wish he could do something about but he can’t.

I think if Trump would quit tweeting and quit saying stupid shit or defending the indefensible — I mean, how hard is it to say “fuck Nazis”? — then he wouldn’t catch as much heat. Trump will have his haters, but that’s ever president. Some will never support him no matter what he does just as some would never support Obama no matter what he did. That’s part of the job. No matter who you are, nearly half the countr will hate you. That’s simply the landscape of American politics.

  • I agreed with the missile strikes.
  • I like his idea of placing term limits on congress.
  • He's not all the way wrong on tariffs though I think he's going about it the wrong way.
  • I like his willingness to be tough on China specially as it relates to our intellectual property.
  • If he was being honest about wanting  affordable healthcare that covered everyone, then I like that as well.
  • No president is all bad or all good but Trump's problem is he just can't get out of his own damn way long enough to let anyone appreciate the good things he's done or wants to do. It's like every time he hands you a random lollipop, he kicks you square in the jimmies right after. Dude is his own worst enemy and always has been.

He’s an unqualified imbecile.

I didn't vote for Trump, because I didn't like his shady business practices, his bankruptcies, the birther issue, his constant lying, his deferments, his inexperience and the fact that in his 70 years, he has done little to nothing for this country besides try to make a profit.  I'm not a hater, I understand the motive of all business is to make a profit. But personally, I would have love to hear about him being involved with a cause for the families of the 9/11 responders. I would have love to hear about how he healed divisions in New York. I would have love to hear about what he tried to do for his community. However, I understand why some people who cannot stand Hillary Clinton voted for him and I don't have any issue with that.

Also, I never thought Trump was a Republican or Democrat. I thought he would campaign in red meat, but govern in prose and deal making. I didn't think he had any strong political convictions, but with the support of his base, he would force these pathetic establishment GOP politicians to do their jobs. I thought without any strong political convictions, he would try and expand on his base by mixing ideas from both political parties.

Instead, he took office, panders to his base and do the bidding of pathetic establishment GOP politicians. Yes, in the short term, I will benefit from the tax cuts, however, I would have sacrificed that tax cut to prevent the impact on the deficit. He should have made the GOP come up with an alternative to handling pre-existing conditions. He should have rebranded Obamacare and made the GOP majority come up with an alternative plan. Instead, he's more interested in culture wars.

To me, his presidency has been a wasted opportunity because without any strong political convictions, he could have really brought this country together. Instead, he took the lazy way out by reinforcing all of the things that divides us. Before the Trump supporters chime in with but Obama, Trump could have united the country in ways Obama could never do. If Clinton won the election, we would still be having Benghazi, Uranium One and so many congressional investigations that they wouldn't even need a special counsel. Trump had an opportunity to do things Obama and Clinton could never get done because of the GOP majority.

@JakePA_Titan, I don't hate Trump. I don't think he is the devil or everything he does is wrong. I just look at his presidency as a missed opportunity.  Trump is the Mett and VY of presidents. He has the most annoying supporters and sometimes, right or wrong he gets criticism because of those annoying supporters. Unlike some of his supporters, I don't think he or the GOP have the answers to everything that is wrong with this country. I think both sides have some good ideas and he could have bridged the gap.

By the way, I'm interested in what he does for lowering drug prices, how he handles pre-existing conditions, funding the Veterans Choice Program, he hasn't screwed with the stock market and my 401K thanks him.

So the onky thing you can agree wirh is something that hasn't and that you believe will not happen?

C'mon, that really count? I find that weak and that it completely undermines your own thread. Or is it that you think we are all wrong and over the top with the supoort while yall can't be any more wrong in the anti Trump narrative.

So you don't agree with anything he has done or is planning to do?

As far as the Nazi comment. I honestly don't believe it's hard for him to say it. He's very stubborn. He doesn't want to feel the need dot be forced to say it. He doesn't want to "give in" so to speak.

Just like with the disavowing of Duke and the KKK.

He does it to piss ppl off. Because honestly, whether he says it or not, what really happens? The ppl that already hate him, hate him a little less? Fat chance.

He likes riling up the left over very little shit. And if he can get them worked up by not saying what they want him to say, he exploits it.

Even you just said "if he can stop tweeting". So many ppl want him to shut up. But now they want to to talk on this or that. He plays head games with the loberal extremists and makes them look like crazy fucks. And it's very entertaining.

I agree with his efforts to make peace with North Korea. My beef there is the right’s criticism of Obama whenever he spoke with a dictator. Trump does it and it’s like he’s Jesus. But I agree that Trump has to do something with North Korea to attempt to reach some peace summit.

So, what's the use in riling up the left over very little shit? He's the freaking POTUS. You are normalizing and justifying his behavior. The POTUS' job is not to entertain us. He left that crap when he left The Apprentice. While you are being entertained, what is he doing on replacing Obamacare? How does he plan to help families with pre-existing conditions? What are his plans to bring our troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan?

I'm glad you are entertained, but entertainment is not in the POTUS' job description. You want fake trash talking, you can watch wrestling.

I like the tax cuts, I just wish they would have cut spending.  I'm glad he made immigration an issue.  I think he has better foreign policy than Obama did.  I also like that he's really called out government inefficiency. I'm also a big supporter of all the Military people he's put in charge, especially Mattis, and he's taken care of the Military which I can get on board with even if I personally think it would be wiser for the nation to reduce defense spending as a general rule.  We agree on gun rights and I think Gorisch was a solid candidate for the supreme court.

I also agree with @Justafan on Gorsuch. It sucks that Garland never got a hearing, but  Gorsuch is an incredibly intelligent attorney and judge. I just hate how the highest court has become so partisan — this is not a criticism against trump; it was partisan long before trump.

Garland was a smart pick by Obama but the failure to get him appointed while knowing the Republicans would do everything they could to obstruct is pretty poor strategy.  It's hard for me to feel sorry for them.

I agree with corporate tax cuts, I just disagree with lower taxes on the wealthy.

His military policy in terms of global involvement I'm okay with, at least in terms of our several past admins.

I agree with cutting some business regulations, but I'd like to have a better knowledge of specifics.  Some I'm aware of I'm okay with, others not so much.

I don't mind the general mindset of tariffs against countries not aligned with us, but I think the general tariffs being proposed hurt us.

I don't mind he attempted some deal with North Korea, even if failed.

There's probably a few issues more that I agree with.

I do find it interesting there are more liberals that have admitted some agreement with Trump than there are Trump supporters admitting disagreement with Trump.  And thus the deep difference in parties.
