Popular Post AussieTitanFan08 Posted July 22, 2018 Popular Post Report Share Posted July 22, 2018 good to finally have reached that time of year when there is some actually on field stuff to discuss, Rookies and QB's are due to report today for training camp, the rest of the veterans report on the 25th and first practice is on the 26th. given the early reports on how Vrabel was running practices during OTA/Mini Camp it should be a fun environment for fans who will attend the open practices. all eyes will be on whether Lewan either gets a new deal in the next couple or days or actually holds out from the beginning of TC. Maybe Evans has to cement his job as a rookie and RT is up in the air if Conklin isn’t ready week 1, but otherwise the starters aren’t in question. But there is going to be a lot of jockeying for position on the depth charts and plenty of quality players fighting for roster spots. Not ride the bench behind a NLB or do you think Brown is an everydown ILB for coverage duties solely and WW and Evans to rotate against run and blitz? My gut feeling is it will be Evans and Woodyard starting, but won't be surprised if Brown unseats Woodyard as the season progresses. Sounds like Jayon was a standout in OTA.
