Beyond simply saying it should be legal, there is still a next step of saying there should be some restrictions. It makes no legal sense to say all partial birth abortions are illegal with exceptions. You would say it is legal with restrictions. After thinking about it you’re right. Allowing exceptions isn’t the right answer. Regulations make the most sense.
pat
Common sense: abortion is an issue decided by a woman and her doctor. Does that mean that sometimes people will have abortions that someone else disagrees with? Yes it does. But it isn't their business.

On the last -- medicine is random and gruesome, and neither you nor I really know what we're talking about. But on the first point -- sorry, getting off doesn't mean you own the woman. This same photograph had earlier been distributed as part of a larger set published by the Vietnamese news site Emdep. The text accompanying that set of photographs described a volunteer who ritually washes the remains of aborted fetuses, stillborn births, and/or premature or abandoned infants (the translation is ambiguous) in preparation for burial. Trump has picked 2 strong Justices, hopefully he gets a couple more. Ruth is 85. My honest guess is that on our current course, there is a good possibility that he gets reelected and gets one more. Let me ask you this. Honestly... no bs. Do you think it is a good thing to stack the Supreme Court in such a one-sided way? If so, is it because you feel that the left is evil or do you think right minded justices are more fair-minded or is this a one or two issue thing for you such as abortion or gay rights? ctm
There is some important nuance to what Kavanaugh wrote. He didn't say a president was protected under current law from indictment, investigation, etc. He said congress should consider passing a law to protect him from such. That's a big difference. To answer your question, I really don't care what a judge's politics are and I am one issue guy when it comes to picking a judge. That issue being interpret the law as written and intended at the time, legislating from the bench is one of the greatest evils in our Republic. Is a law antiquated, rewrite it and update it. Is the Constitution antiquated, amend it. Bingo. Otherwise you have judges, answerable to no one, creating laws based on their personal wishes rather than the law of the land.
