Generally speaking only the most desperate risk making the trip and are willing to put up with the conditions they'll have to "work" under. I just wanted to remind you guys of who the actual victims are so you can put it in perspective. You're not victims and no one is victimizing you. Those kids were victimized and many will live with the trauma for much of their lives. Likewise, when someone else (on the left) acknowledges a hindrance no one would want to endure, they're only 'claiming to be a victim.' It's hypocritical, sure, but it only goes to show what a bullshit counter-argument the 'victim label' is to pointing out some injustice. It's literally the rebuttal that can be used to quell any injustice claim. It's essentially an appeal to emotion. That's why it's a popular complaint in tribal politics.
