Here we go again. Don't blame the asshole running north Korea and the fact he can't be trusted to even sit down and talk. Bash your own president who is trying to accomplish something.

What a pathetic asshole.

Trump? Agreed. Lots of counting chickens before they hatch.

Hopefully he finds his way through this because denuclearized North Korea is / would be a huge win for the world. Seems doubtful, though.

In a Wall Street Journal op-ed penned Wednesday(late Feb.), John Bolton, the former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations during the George W. Bush administration, explained why he believes the U.S. must "act" on North Korea, and how military action could be justified legally.

For decades, neoconservative militarism has coursed through Washington's veins; the idea that the United States must make aggressive military decisions, often unilaterally, in the international arena in order to preemptively thwart a perceived immediate threat, has become a norm.

"The threat is imminent, and the case against pre-emption rests on the misinterpretation of a standard that derives from prenuclear, pre-ballistic-missile times," Bolton wrote. "Given the gaps in U.S. intelligence about North Korea, we should not wait until the very last minute. That would risk striking after the North has deliverable nuclear weapons, a much more dangerous situation."

This is coming from the guy who still defends attacking Iraq as a good idea.

BTW Trump's bizarre letter to Kim Jung Un was sent prior to informing South Korea. SK was completely blindsided. I wonder if putting daylight between us and S. Korea will have any other repercussions down the road?

NK with China’s influence is trying to see what they can get by with and get from this. They want instant access to the world economy.

Trump is not Obama. He isn’t going to give them anything they want, just to get a deal.

The best deals made are those you walked away from and came back to renegotiate.
