LOL come on man.  We know you post these trying to hype up rookies, hoping people will overpay to trade for the draft picks you don't want in the dynasty league.

Mayfield could easily throw for 4000+ yards and that is more of a function of the OC calling more passing plays.  They signed a RB and drafted one.  They do have a pretty nice group of WRs.  Cleveland could look like a real NFL offense and the rookie won't have to carry them.

If Mayfield were a few inches taller he would have been a slam dunk as the #1 pick.

He throws through passing lanes on short passes and launches long balls in a slight Jeff Blake like trajectory. So his height does not affect his passes (by measurements, his passing is possibly best ever in college football.) Some analysts state an issue in his height could be receivers seeing the start of his pass. Browns are already working on that - having him do drills where he gets used to passing in a tippy toe stance when needed - not to help him pass but to signal receivers better.  Drew Brees does the same thing.

But if 2 inches tallers, there would be no question about him.

His game is fine IMO.  Teams discount guys for their ht and I've seen plenty of taller guys who couldn't find throwing lanes.

Mayfield is listed at 6'1.  Russell Wilson is listed at 5"11.  I see them as somewhat similar players.  Mayfield might not come out as polished as Wilson since Wilson played in a pro style offense at Wisconsin.  However, Mayfield can sit for a year behind Taylor, another pretty good QB who is only 6'1.
