He also likes players that when they're told "no," they prove people wrong. Just so happens that a lot of those guys tend to be small school/non power-5 guys. Good amount of them also had very little recruiting interest out of HS. Conklin was a walk-on. Davis, Taylor, Tajae, Jonnu, all lightly recruited. Not a prerequisite obviously, but something that's notable. One reason that leads me to believe they'll like Anthony Miller a lot, since they seem to be showing so much interest in WRs. Was a very productive walk-on at Memphis, great athlete as well. http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2018/04/south_alabamas_jeremy_reaves_u.html This is my draft sleeper for 2018, we were at his pro day. He also put together a solid performance at thesenior bowl. Career stats: 301 Tackles, 20.5 for a loss, 8 ints, 8 ffs, 2 recoveries. Huston
#Titans had a private workout with Taylor. Could be a late round target. Sleeper defensive lineman Jullian Taylor of Temple took an official visit to see the Cleveland Browns & Seattle Seahawks already this week. Visiting the NY Jets tomorrow. Maybe he are scouting the later round prospects because we intended to trade up in the first round for a surprise player...maybe Davenport? Most players are rated third round or later. WR - Dante Pettis - Washington Even though they don't count against the 30 limit, I would include Vandy LB Oren Burks and Tennessee CB/S Rashaan Gaulden on the list because they brought them in separate and apart from the local pro day. Under the NFL's rules, Yelder is also potentially a player who doesn't count against the 30 max if all they did on the visit was meet with him and give him a physical exam and didn't work him out. Every team gets 3 schools, 1 FBS and 2 other, for that purpose, and WKU was assigned to the Titans (the other two are Vandy and MTSU, who fall within the broader local area exception).
