GOAT9
I'm gonna go ahead and make a list of the reasons why this movie ruined it all for me. I want to start by saying I liked Rogue One, and I thought TFA was decent considering they had a lot to do with introducing the characters and plots etc. 1. Super Leia. How the fuck does a person that doesn't even know how to use the force all of a sudden know how to use it at a level beyond what Yoda, Luke, or any other person ever? To me this showed that whoever wrote that sorry ass miracle into the story doesn't understand what the force is or how it works. 2. Snoke. This was the most interesting new character in the series for me. I was one of those people that has spent the last year coming up with 20 million different theories on who that guy was. This guy had so much potential and they dispose of him like he was nothing and don't even let us know anything about him. Now who do we have on the bad side? We got Emo Ren who has to be a top 3 most pathetic villain ever. 3. Finn. The first movie had him being a coward who finally manned up in the end. I expected to see his character develop further in this movie. Instead he gets reduced to the typical token black guy comedy relief role. We all know why he got reduced to a minor role (a point below) which is utter bull shit. Its pretty sad that this movie goes full Left wing political Agenda with the Socialism subliminal messaging and the direct Feminist tone, and yet the Black guy still gets screwed. 4. Admiral Ackbar. If youre going to kill him off could you could have at least gave him an epic ending for all the fans? That too much to ask for? 5. Ghost Yoda. Well Yoda has now ascended to that of a God. But he is the angry old testament God that is all psycho and striking shit with lightning just for the hell of it. And why Yoda but no Obi Wan, or Anakin? I'm guessing both of them must be at some Afterlife bar catching up on the old times. To hell with Luke and his Alien milking ass. 6. Political Propaganda. Eps I-III had a lot of politics involved but it played more of a background role. You knew about it but no certain ideology was being shoved in your face. This movie decided just for the hell of it that we're gonna demonize Capitalism and throw in a pro socialist side plot in here. Lets indoctrinate the youth with subliminal messages. Marx would be proud. 7. Feminism. This movie belittles, degrades, or completely destroys every male character in this movie, while making every single female a super hero. Lets compare the characters. Finn- Coward. Snoke-Evil. Emo Ren- Pussy. Ackbar-nobody Poe-Egotistical Flyboy that screws everyone trying to be macho. Luke- A hobo surviving on Alien milk. Rey- the Hero. Leia-Superwoman. Asian diversity hire- The Finn sub plot hero. Purple haired General Gender Studies- Famous battle hero of some battle with Leia we should all know about. 8.Luke. Man the main hero from eps IV-VI. You would think he would at least get to go out with some dignity. Instead he spends his final days looking like the father from the Shameless series, hobo looking, deranged, weak, defeated, milking aliens and shit. And then while Leia has learned how to use the force to breath and fly through space. Luke has lost it all and kills himself using the force to project an illusion of himself. 9. To keep this from being 100+ reasons ill just simplify this one to be everything else I didn't mention above. Like poor plot, poor flow. About the only positives from this movie is that the effects and acting are done well. headhunter, Starkiller, and Justafan 2

Not a single new white male hero is added from Rogue One to the two new movies, they are all villians. Snoke, Kylo, red head guy and the guy in Rogue One. Starkiller
How dare they make a movie where white men aren’t the heroes! No one wants to see a movie starring minorities and women... yuck... GOAT9

Would the movie be better if Hux was black???

You literally blamed women and minorities... Inserting a political agenda into a movie is not a good reason to hate it? FYI it literally made up 2 of the 7 points I mentioned so not even half. Also I didn't hate on any minority. Point 3 pointed out how pissed I was that the minority got screwed over. But typical of tards like you to brush over everything and only digest what you want to see.

Cyrus
Watched A New Hope last night, which I of course liked, but had me thinking that Rey's character is far more likable than Luke's at this early juncture. Return of the Jedi does a lot for Luke's character (especially since he becomes more heroic). I had a greater appreciation for the characters of Han and Leia as well. The pace was far slower than I remember, especially the first act. (I understand why Luke/Biggs interactions were cut). Noticed lots of little things that were callbacks for the future films. One of which were that the X-Wings were being fueled up on Yavin IV prior to the attack on the Death Star. So yes, in response to the Everything Wrong video, there is indeed fuel in the OT. Also - references to ships speed and so on are all throughout A New Hope. Han says the Millenium Falcon can outrun Imperial Cruisers, Ben talks about a TIE Fighter being too small to be out in desolate space. X-Wings being too small for Death Star Turbo Lasers. They weren't used for plot device, but they're all throughout the OT in small references. The guy gets more animated than usual because of the whole fuel thing and the size/speed/weight of ships.
