AussieTitanFan08
a little surprised the optimism even ventured to talking about possible first round byes for the Titans, there is definitely a path opening up for either the Titans or Jags to grab a first round bye if they are good enough, I still just don't trust the Mularkey/Robiskie offensive scheme. Jamalisms
Dare to dream. It requires fixes but it's possible and we've seen it. Underperforming means there's room to grow... but it also means they have to grow.

Good podcast, enjoyed the analysis. I think Greg Cosell does a great job up until the point he gets too deep into the interpretation, such as a "high degree of scheming" offense. His weekly show on the midday 180 is must listen to material, imho. I'm really hoping having Corey Davis hurt a few defenses deep changes their approach to us and loosens up the run game. Hey, Cincy could be that game. Cincy could also be the game where we can see how much Morgan and Orakpo have left in the tank, their offensive tackles are weak, if we can't get repeated pressures and sacks against these guys, unless we have 3 second or less releases from Dalton, it will be negative evidence. As far as the churn among the fan base, it parallels the churn in the team, we are slightly above the pack in record and we are talented but performing at slightly above the pack. Defense seems to have gelled more than offense where we are still finding our way, if we can keep our head above water I am hopeful the offense will gel soon. OILERMAN
Concerning Woodyard's starts this year compared to last year. Last year Woodyard lost his job in the nickel and when the team started out in nickel he didn't "start", he only played in the base defense. He's now playing 100% of the snaps, or close to it. The noteworthy thing is not starts but the difference in % of defensive snaps that has went way up.
