Spain still under contract but point taken. Nelson is a great player and would be a good target in the mid to late first.

I don't think the fans can deal with another 1st rd OL but Nelson is an absolute stud. He's huge but not like Warmack, he's put major time in the weight room. Dudes a monster & a perfect fit for the man,  power scheme we run.

Exactly. The OL is not playing as well in the run game this year, I could see it. This entire team revolves around the OL. And with as late as we may be picking, an inglorious position like OL or LB  may be BPA.

The Titan guards have actually played pretty well this season.

Kline and Schwenke are free agents and Spain a restricted free agent. That leaves Levin as an untested rookie. Guard is def a need based on who's signed in 2018.

I wouldn't draft one early. Keep Kline or sign some other mid level free agent if Levin isn't ready, keep Schwenke as the swing man.

I think the ideal option is a stud pass rusher, edge or interior, but you have a good point, if we pick fairly late & this kid is there there's a good chance he's BPA. Dominant guards regularly drop to the 2nd half of the 1st rd, and this guy sounds like he could a star right off the bat.

And yeah, the last 2 games especially our OL hasn't looked great. It's certainly good enough but we play a scheme where OL is more important than others. We have to mash people in the ground game & protect the QB on vertical routes, guards are more much valuable for us then say, a West Coast offense team.
