Popular Post 9 Nines
Its funny with the President claiming he is the "business" president that business leaders do not want to be associated with him, but it is even more funny that he tried to claim it was his decision: Based on mounting pressure from the President's rant on the racial tensions of today, the remaining members of the President's Business Advisory Group voted to disband the group today after many members already left. Then after the group decided to disband, President Trump publicly claimed that he was the one who disbanded it. Also of note: yesterday, President Trump claimed that other CEOs were lined-up to join the group. https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-disbands-white-house-business-councils-ceos-flee-173515969.html https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/on-leadership/wp/2017/08/16/after-wave-of-ceo-departures-trump-ends-business-and-manufacturing-councils/?utm_term=.e8ace7f48772 Trump announced the disbanding of the two councils — the Strategy & Policy Forum and the Manufacturing Council, which hosted many of the top corporate leaders in America — amid a growing uproar by chief executives furious over Trump's decision to equate the actions of white supremacists and protesters in remarks Tuesday at Trump Tower. But those groups had already decided to dissolve on their own earlier in the day, a person familiar with the process said. begooode
Embarrassing. Trump's nasty, instantaneous attacks as they resigned was beyond petty, almost childish. He's tried to shame the same CEOs he courted and fawned over. Embarrassing. reo
9 Nines
Corporations are highly engrained with government policy so it seems it would take an extreme situation to make companies leave a presidential council that could lead to policy/agency actions. Those CEOs, of some the largest companies and groups in America, are basically saying that President Trump is so toxic, they have to turn away from something that would normal be vital and extremely important to their businesses. 9 Nines
President Trump might really go crazy now. He seems to suffer from knowing he is a fraud and con artist, resulting in him craving validation from actual business leaders. WIth them turning their backs on him, I think he will sink lower mentally and might start lashing out at others even more crazily.
