TeamRamrod
I hope Ballard was waiting for that job to open all those years.

LOL Pretty sure that was Reid and he was given a 5 year extension 45 mins before Dorsey was fired. Its a puzzling move and speaks to a fall out between Reid and Dorsey in my opinion. japan
This reminds me of the Fisher/Reese power struggle. Fisher won, got to draft who he wanted over Reese, then Reese was out.
socaltitan
Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reports ex-Chiefs GM John Dorsey was "butting heads" with owner Clark Hunt. Per Cole, that's what Dorsey "told a source within the past two months." No reason was given, but USA Today reported earlier Thursday the team believed Dorsey botched long-term negotiations with Justin Houston and Eric Berry. Dorsey has been an excellent drafter, though coach Andy Reid is an influence in every department of Chiefs personnel. A pair of Reid loyalists are amongst the in-house candidates expected to interview to replace Dorsey.

kyle021
Dorsey is legit glad the colts didn't get him even though Ballard is promising. Where is he going? Who needs a great GM? Jets? Bills? Chargers? I bet he winds up in Jville

Jax has Tom Coughlin running things now. The Jets are a good possibility after they tank this year. It's also a bad idea to give Andy Reid significant say in personnel decisions. That didn't work out too well in the latter part of his PHI tenure.
Face
How did he botch long term negotiations with Houston & Berry? Did they overpay? I guess this goes to show how many factors there are behind the scenes, you can't just look at a guys draft record.
Ricky
A new name: #Chiefs have requested permission to speak with #Titans Director of Player Personnel Ryan Cowden for their GM job, sources say. From Ian Rapoprt.
