Trump's Biggest Mistake.

18 posts in this topic

Trump threw the national media off balance for a few days when he called them "fake news"  He said it right to their faces.  Then he said it over and over, "fake news"  One of our largest freedoms in America is freedom of the press.  The news media of America is made up of some of the most educated and intelligent men and women in the country.  Trump chose to degrade them as perpetrators of false news stories.  Never mind that what they were reporting was facts, he won the day by making them a laughing stock.  He waylaid them for a few days and was king of the hill.

He made them mad.  These people are not going to come back and say "I'm rubber and you're glue...."  No, they are going to relentlessly look into every detail that comes up about Trump forever.  Pre-election he got all kinds of slack for making statements that displayed lack of intellect,, morality and human decency.  No more will that be permitted.  They are on a witch hunt.  He stood in their faces during that presidential press conference and said "I am the witch, now what are you going to do?"

The pen is mightier than the sword.

Yep, he hasn't had to deal with an oppositional press once in his life.  He's complaining about the Russia thing, being president means every day someone is trying to take you down.  It's a real job, the first he's ever had.

Prior to the election was talking about Trump with a cabbie.  This dude was asking "Why does Trump want to be president?  He's got a beautiful wife, lots of money, he's in his 70s.... just live your life man."

Dude is gonna get worn down for sure.

All presidents age two years for one, except Ronald Reegan.  Hair color and dementia kept him from drastically aging.  Trump would be the second if his worries were only normal for a president.  Trump has chose to create and stir up side issues that would keep anybody up at night.  Notice the tweets are never about presidential issues, but about h-i-m.

He's making more money than ever.. and golfing just about as much as ever. He got to ditch the family for months as well. But the first reason is the most important.

... and I don't think he ever really wanted to be president anyway.

Trump's biggest mistake was winning the election.

No, that's our biggest mistake.

One of the first things Putin did in his rise to power was degrade the public's trust in the media. Then he started his own propaganda wing.

Everything Trump did with the press was straight out of Putin's playbook.

Your biggest mistake was running an even worse candidate then him.

Even though she wasn't worse than him, she was pretty bad.  But I don't know if you would have voted for anybody the dems ran.  The repub base refused to vote for several quality candidates, instead choosing to vote for Trump.  Mitt Romney told the repubs.  But these people are not repubs, they don't have the interest the party has.  As in the Log Cabin has always existed, but monetary interest made the repubs the choice of the gays.  But the party just went further and further appealing to the lowest elements in American society.  They ran people like me out and a lot of others in order to appeal to a group who can't even spell republican.

There's no such thing as a worse candidate than Trump.  A psychotic resurrected Bud Adams zombie would be preferable

Trump's biggest mistakes are his two oldest sons, def should have had those two aborted. Massive douche bags. We'll see on Barron

Junior is the scary one. He seems to mimic Trump's mannerisms to the point where it just feels forced, rehearsed and a bad imitation.  He appears to have all of Trump's mannerisms, ego and greed.

Seeing how easy it was for daddy to steamroll the GOP establishment, it has to be tempting for him fancy the Trumps as the next political dynasty in American politics.
