Jonboy
In the midst of all the offseason news, I feel like one of the least-discussed topics here has been the Houston Texans offseason. We all know, they squeaked by last year as division champs yet again. What have they done this offseason? They traded away their QB and lost several key contributors via FA. I don't believe they've signed a single free agent on defense, despite losing Bouye, Demps, and Simon. They re-signed their punter and kicker, as well as a backup TE. Now it seems they have all their eggs in the Tony Romo basket when it comes to their QB situation. The Cowboys don't seem in any hurry to make a move and there's even talk Romo could just retire and go into broadcasting. How do you all see next year shaping up for the Texans? Remember, they'll be getting Watt back. Whether or not he's 100% remains to be seen.
Bongo59
They are done with or with Romo. They think Watt's return is big. I don't. They lost Simon and Bouye. Their CB are old......and their OL is not all that. They had their time to get it done.
Bongo59
To fix your OL this year requires FA and draft and luck......this is not an OL draft at all.

Wouldn't it be some shit next year if the Colts and Texans switch places, record wise and we lose out on a tiebreaker with the Colts this time! Face
Why is the Romo situation dragging out? WTF can possibly cause that? It's as simple as it gets.
Bongo59
they want a pick.....because they know Hou is going to get him and Jerry does not want anyone in Tx he competes with doing well. Justafan
cenj
I hope they go all in on Romo. He won't make it all season but he'll demand all the reps and attention, helping to screw up the guy who will be actually playing QB for them most of the season. I think the Cowboys have a cap benefit by waiting till June 1st to cut him.
Huston
Elway just said they aren't looking at Romo anymore.
Tex in a Can
They have major holes in their offense, O-line needs a starting RT, their rookie center missed all lat year and Duane Brown is not getting any younger at LT. They have a 3rd year QB who started 1.5 games as their starter. Their WR's dropped off big time last year, even Dhop looked like just a regular WR out there. Lamar Miller is a good back but he needs a better #2, he can't carry the load all season. As amazing as their D is always touted, you can run on them. 2 of their 3 CBs are getting old but they have more talent at CB than we currently have. WVTITAN
I think any football team located in Houston is jinxed with bad ownership.

Jerry is just trying to squeeze the Texans for whatever he can get out of them.
h4t
I'm surprised the Texans don't try to sign Cutler. They could be lethal with him.

They don't have the cap room to sign both Cutler and Romo. Signing Cutler means they have given up on signing Romo. To early to show that desperation. They traded their turd BO expecting Romo and so far its blew up in their faces. Signing Cutler amounts to the same thing. You know premature ejaculation. Popular Post OILERMAN
Jerry is terrified Romo will go to the Texans and they will make the SB while the Cowboys possibly struggle.
