2017 NFL Draft: Titans Player Visit Tracker

Recommended Posts

Receiver Amara Darboh caught fire with a terrific performance at the combine and kept the momentum going at pro day. He ran great routes and caught the ball well yesterday.

Starting on Thursday night Darboh met with the Tennessee Titans, Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints.

Jourdan Lewis looked exceptional in position drills and was head and shoulders above everyone else.  Most on hand believe the recent domestic violence charge against the cornerback could push him into the very late rounds.  His next court appearance is April 12.

From Walter Football:

TEN.gif Tennessee Titans
  • Jonathan Allen, DT/3-4DE, Alabama (PRO)
  • Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan (PRO)
  • Zach Cunningham, ILB, Vanderbilt (COM)
  • Jeremy Cutrer, CB, Middle Tennessee (PRO)
  • Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan (COM)
  • Colin Holba, LS, Louisville (SR)
  • O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama (PRI)
  • Tanoh Kpassagnon, DE/3-4DE, Villanova (SR)
  • Marlon Mack, RB, South Florida (WOR)
  • Leon McQuay III, S, USC (WOR)
  • Taylor Moton, OT/G, Western Michigan (SR)
  • Dalvin Tomlinson, DT/NT, Alabama (COM)
  • Mike Williams, WR, Clemson (COM)
  • Chris Wormley, DE/DT/3-4DE, Michigan (SR)
  • Deangelo Yancey, WR, Purdue (WOR)

Imagine getting Allen at 5 then Williams or Davis or Howard at 18.

Some pass rushing big men in there too.

I'm sure all the "I have no clue" folks will hate yet another declaration, but I'm finding it hard to imagine the Titans drafting any player at 5 other than Howard or Davis. I really think it's between those two.

Interesting. We were at the Michigan pro day & have had Charlton & Wormley in for visits. Apparently we were very interested in Allen & Tomlinson at the Bama pro day & had them in as well.

I just looked at our visits last year & the only ones we drafted that were visits were Jack & Byard. I almost don't even count Conklin because he was a given to visit he was ranked so high.

Interesting that none of our 2nd rd picks visited while some guys that were available, like James Bradberry & Michael Thomas were available.

Watch for the CB Cutrer (pronounced Kuh trair) in the later rounds (probably a reach in the 4th round, but could go in the 5th on maybe). JRob and Byard were both at the MTSU pro day.  Byard played with Cutrer the last couple years, so he should know him pretty well.

I'm thinking he told JRob a thing or two on Cutrer's skills.  The dude has an attitude like he's Deion Sanders on the field or some shit. lol  He's not fast like Deion was, but unlike Deion, Cutrer can hit and tackle well for his size and ain't scared to show it.

Plays like he's 25 lbs. heavier than he is, but needs to bulk up some more of course, if possible.  Keeps his eyes on the QB and is good playing with cushion, similar to Bouye.  Looks kinda like a lankier version of Richard Sherman.

He could be this years Simms for us possibly.  Had a nice game vs. Bama in '15 when he was paired up with Byard.  Found a couple vids on him, but they are kinda scarce.  Here he is in 2015 vs. Bama and our boy Henry...

For anyone interested, we've been keeping track here:

WF isn't always 100% accurate.

Damn, hadn't even seen that thread before.  See tgo posted some Cutrer info there though.

  • Tanoh Kpassagnon, DE/3-4DE, Villanova (SR)     This guy is a monster.  He is the perfect 3/4 OLB and I hope we get him in three.  The CB from MTSU is a JRbog guy.  Byard has talked him up for 12 months.  The kid is long and has great hips.  He is one of those CB that few talk about that can really play.  Having played with Byard they already have some chemistry.  One think about him I like is that he is a hitter like Byard.  He does not shy away from contact.

Huston

He would be a end not linebacker and a way better fit in the third then Thomas in the first.
