Jamalisms
Having only done enough for three upgrades... only one of which went to Stamina... I can't imagine the idea of having multiple full wheels of stamina. I could climb all sorts of stuff without exploring for an easier way up. That would save so much time. Swimming too for me, that's probably what I like most about extra stamina besides just running to a location. Climbing is easy to bypass with only an extra wheel because there are enough edges to stand on to recompose yourself.
Jamalisms
I do have to say, though, that there's an element of a puzzle that I appreciate in trying to figure out how to climb up walls that push my stamina limit. All if the puzzles mixed into this game are the real appeal. Constant mild challenge with payoff makes you feel good and so many things feel like finding a secret. wiscotitansfan
How is the advanced cheika sensor supposed to work, there seems to be no continuity in the hot/cold aspect of it Nvm, it really isn't too bad of a game of Marco Polo, when I first read the description when I upgraded it seemed it would indicate direction on the radar Stranger

Makes it less tedious when looking for stuff you need to upgrade assuming you've found it already once before and taken a picture of it. You can also pay the guy that is Puyah's?? assistant to give you pictures.

Jonboy
I barely paid attention to the story so I may have missed it, but do they ever explain how some people in the world talk like they were alive 100 years ago, but haven't aged? I get it for Link and Zelda...not so much for other characters.

Jamalisms
So did you guys just farm guardians and wait for ancient core drops or is there a trick I'm unaware of?

I've gotten a couple from out in the wild Guardians, but I got the majority of mine from the Test of Strength shrines. Farm those every blood moon and you should have plenty. I could be mistaken, but I think I only got them out of the Moderate and Major Tests and not the Minor ones. Could be wrong about that though. They don't always drop them, but will on occasion. I just finished a Major Test Shrine last night in the far NW corner of the map and it dropped a core.
Jamalisms
In case you're wondering, standing above rock throwing range and taking out the Hinox on Eventide one round bomb at a time... takes about ten to fifteen tedious minutes. pat
