Righteous
Fisher is what has always been. Too conservative! He plays games so close that one play can swing the game either way. For the idiot who said that McNair was not a franchise QB, obviously never watched him play ball. He was asked to run a simple offense. But back to Fisher, who doesn't remember the home playoff game against Baltimore? 3 blocked punts inside the Ravens 30 and instead of attacking with the momentum, his strategy was 3 runs and a FG attempt. Or after 2 consecutive scores against the favorite Oakland Raiders in the AFC championship and with all the momentum, he runs Rodney Thomas who fumbles. That leds to a score by the Raiders and a huge change of momentum at the end of the half. Playing it so close to the vest, you will always win some and lose some. 50 50. 8 - 8. The Titans won because that had better talent, not because of Fisher. MadMax
forgetthetitans
Lot of controversy is starting to build around him and his lack of ethics (Coaches and opposing fans calling him out for teaching dirty tactics, and Case Kenum concussion protocol). Won't be surprised to see him let go at the end of the season and forced into retiring from the competition committee. luvyablue256

OzTitan
Would Fisher quit the Rams if he was offered the Titans job? Could he take the team president role and leave coaching behind?

The players do like him and respect him though. Most of the Toronto bangwagoners hate him and Im constantly defending him while knowing he's replaceable at the same time. He's the anti Whiz. Good ol' country boy, very player friendly, very trustworthy, not the greatest interview but good for the group they have. He definitely seems like a good guy. And he's probably better suited for a veteran team which is why last year was his best year. He's a little like joe torre and terry Francona. He's great with the egos because of his calm demeanor but as far as his game day moves he's not very good. He's not the type of guy who will get a young team to overachieve like a joe maddon. Nash
I'd guess the whole move to LA has been factored into the owner's decision.. and I'd also guess they take a qb this year.. even trading up

ctm
Best to leave Iowa alone for the time being. The Hawkeyes and Ferentz are 11-0.
Titansurf32
I made a poll about this several weeks back. Would you want him back if both Whiz and Fisher were fired? He would have to be done in STL with another losing season with such high expectations. If Fisher comes back this franchise is even more of a complete laughing stock. Gibbons is excellent at it.

Watching them get crushed in a playoff game. ChesterCopperpot1

Vegas opening line was Iowa as a 1 point favorite. The betting public pretty much agrees and the line hasn't really moved.
