TrueLuvYaBlue77
Chew on these cap figures; 1. Kamerion Wimbley (2015 Salary) $4,493,750 (Dead Money) $ 3,600,00 2. Shonn Greene (2015 Salary ) $4,183,333 (Dead Money) $ 833,333 3. Sammie Lee Hill (2015 Salary) $4,660,417 (Dead Money) $666,667 Current Salary Cap Space (To Date); $ 24,140,232 Projected Cap Space (With Draft); $ 16,649,697 Just like during the 2013 off-season's $100 Million spending spree shopping n buying WalMart brand players, this off-season was not too different, with the hopeful play of Orakpo, Searcy and Douglas. Wimbley's number is a loss and forgotten cause with hopefully getting one great season out of him this year. Green and Hill have to go, and several others that need no mention here. Adding almost $10 additional million in cap space is something that should have already been done. What was the point of paying an almost 30 year old receiver, new to the system, $11 plus Million for three years, with one decent season out of seven years, in replacing a very consistent and locker room leader in Nate Washington, a second or two older??? tgo
Sammie Lee Hill isn't going anywhere. They'll give him an extension before they cut him. And yeah, Greene is overpaid. Who are they going to get to replace him? Only way he'll get cut is if they draft a guy that beats him out. Wimbley may get cut if someone beats him out in camp. TrueLuvYaBlue77
Thank you tgo for your intelligent response bro. Appreciate it. Can you imagine if Webster and company actually made a play and got both Rivers and Peterson, in some very crafty and makeable draft moves??? Barksdale and Wisniewski should both be free agent additions for the offensive line, regardless if protecting Rivers or Mettenberger. Smart value signings. TrueLuvYaBlue77
Wisniewski is a better upgrade at center than Schwenke, at this time. I think Schwenke in time could be a solid player on the line. Both Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril were signed to Seahawk team during the 2013 off-season, with a fraction of the cap money the Titans had, and guess what....both went to the Superbowl during their second season with the team. kyle021
Greene has not yet been cut, because they are waiting until the draft to take a back who probably falls to the 3rd-4th round that shouldn't be there If they miss out on the guy then Greene will be a Titan this year Also I see them waiting until the June 1st cuts to see who may be better too
XAEA12
And yeah, Greene is overpaid. Who are they going to get to replace him? Literally ANYONE.
SuperFreak90
LeBeau will get a lot out of SLH this year. Greene will be replaced by a draft pick, most likely Wimbley too. imo
