OILERMAN
http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/dante-fowler,%20jr.?id=2552437 Fowler is the best edge rusher out of a lot of good edge rushers. He's got the size, amazing speed and seems to have high character. The problem is it seems unlikely the Titans would consider him after signing Morgan and Arakpo gatordude731
IrishTitansFan
Any OLB at 2 would be drafting a luxury. We have far too many needs

Thrill
I wouldn't be mad if we took him. However, drafting Williams makes it so Morgan and Orakpo have a significantly easier time getting to the QB. I see it this way if we draft Williams we have him and casey occupying a lot of space and attention, therefor freeing up our OLBs. If we draft Fowler, the inside offensive lineman can zero in on casey and have much more freedom to double one of the OLBs. Because of this, I think that the total production of sacks and qb pressures will be much higher with Williams than with Fowler. Unless Fowler is the next Freak. On the other hand, if we already had a relatively stout group of inside DL I would draft Fowler in a second. Edited April 7, 2015 by Thrill
Face
http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/dante-fowler,%20jr.?id=2552437 Fowler is the best edge rusher out of a lot of good edge rushers. The problem is it seems unlikely the Titans would consider him after signing Morgan and Arakpo I agree, you can never have too many pass rushers, we're one injury away from Wimbley starting again. Even if nobody gets hurt you can always scheme them in, in Arizona Horton used 3 OLB's in his nickel. Where I disagree is Fowler, I like Beasley, Ray, and Gregory all better. Beasley & Ray especially are just flat out better edge rushers. I read a piece that said Fowler is very tough to evaluate because they lined him up all over to rush, at DT & often ILB. He's still a great prospect but strictly as an edge rusher Id take the other guys, though Fowler could have the most upside. He could be 270-275 in a year or two & just as quick. Mercalius
I flip flop on my favorite rusher in this draft class from week to week. Beasley was the front runner a month ago, then I warmed up to Fowler. But now Ray's starting to seem like a solid choice too. Really, I'd be happy with any of them on the roster. Gregory has kinda fallen off for me, and his failed drug test didn't help, but he'd be great value after the first half of round 1.
Cyrus
I think Fowler will be a very good pro and a complete player, but I'm not sure if he will be a consistent double digit sack artist. (Not that it's the end all be all)

Mythos27
Shane Ray had a very average pro day. Yup and as a guy who is supposed to shock and awe people with his athleticism this should scare you.
Mythos27
You guys must realize that not all good foorball players are track guys. Leave it up to some of you and Jerey Rice would be drafted in the middle rds. Joe Montana would be a undrafted free agent. Look at the film and just take note of rhe drills. The film shows he's a one trick pony speed rusher whose a liability vs the run. If you're that kind of player your measurable better be on point if you expect to be a top 5-10 pick. Mythos27
Mythos, I have not watched the film so I will take your word on it. Please don't. Just head on over to draftbreakdown.com when you have the chance. You may see things much differently than I.
TitanedUpSince'70
http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/dante-fowler,%20jr.?id=2552437 Fowler is the best edge rusher out of a lot of good edge rushers. The problem is it seems unlikely the Titans would consider him after signing Morgan and Arakpo I like this guy too Oman, but he already looks and acts like a Raven or Steeler with his attitude and the way he talks so we can't possibly draft him. lol We need some Fowlers on this team but he's to damn good and mean to be a Titan! Alcibiades
I think Beasley is the best edge rusher, and I've thought so for months. But I do think Fowler is a more complete player. Still, I'd put Beasley opposite Morgan (who is similar to Fowler, IMO), and we'd be scary at OLB.
cenj
Disagree here, I think Fowler is good but limited. Probably won't bust, but I too liken him to Derrick Morgan. As far as talent, I think Gregory is still the man, regardless of weight or numbers. Watch the film and you see a guy who at 235lbs still pile drives OTs at times and has that natural flexibility. He's Greg Hardy too me, but less risky. Being a pothead vs being a mentally unstable abuser with a possibility of 1st degree murder in his future...I'll take the pothead. I think we all know the Ravens or Bengals will grab him and make him a multiple probowler. Mythos27
