scine09
Solid backup to use in TC or maybe even stick on the roster if need be If Brandon Weeden is taking meaningful snaps then the team is in big, big trouble. I honestly believe we go into the season jutett and CBJ day

ctm
Weeden  isn't going to sign to be a #3 and the Titans aren't going to pay him 2M to do it.
kyle021
Weeden  isn't going to sign to be a #3 and the Titans aren't going to pay him 2M to do it. What's the problem with him competing with CBJ? Everyone on here wants to talk about how much trouble we would be going into the season with just Mett and CBJ and someone brings any QB to the discussion as a possible backup and they always get blasted for it... We have to spend our $ 90% of it in fact, and this is only one year... 1 year 2 million dollar deal with maybe the vet minimum guaranteed... What's the harm in that? Face
Pretty good but Cameron makes no sense, someone will pay him a lot of money to be their receiving TE, we already have one of those. That money should go to the secondary. Also, if we re-sign Morgan it's either Graham or Harrison. Harrison makes more sense because he'll hold the job for a year with Beasley taking over. He's also cheap & can still play, leaving more money to spend elsewhere. If we have Morgan & Graham than Williams should be the pick because they'll be our starting OLB's the next 4-5 years, depending on injury.
kyle021
Harrison is a 1 year deal giving us healthy rotation. Going into next year the three man rotation would be Morgan, Graham, and Beasley Take one position, and make it a strength, and that's what I did. Cameron makes total sense... He has been plagued by concussions for two years, and he is not going to get a big deal because of that. I actually thought 3.3 million a year was pretty dang fair... It's about what we pay our concussion prone TE
volntitan
Signing Cameron and releasing Stevens doesn't make sense.
scine09
I mostly like the plan. I am against drafting two RB's. Even against drafting 1 RB to be honest but if they do the 3rd round is way too early.  Jackie Battle is fine to bring back at a low deal as a FB.  Also, Kern is a FA. I noticed you had him returning but didn't list him as a re-sign.  As far as the non RB's, I am not a draft person so I don't really know much about any of these guys. I also think that the Titans can get even more from Cleveland in that trade. Maybe an extra 2nd next year and/or a 1st in 2017 along with what you put. kyle021
No way we are signing both Graham and Morgan and then drafting Beasley. Graham and Morgan are both going to be big dollar. I'd maybe sign Morgan or Graham, sign Harrison to a one year deal and then draft Beasley. Release Groves. My God..... I'd consider signing McCourty as a S. I'd also look to draft a S or WR instead of Davis in that scenario. We have Jones who isn't that much different than Davis and with the signing of a NT Hill can be used at DE as well and might be better out there. Not high on Crabtree but if he can be signed for two years, $4 mil a year I'm fine with it. Basically takes Washington's place. We don't have money tied into QB, WR, CB, or LT That's why we have so much money and no strengths to any position across the board. We are the worst at rushin passers in the league and it's time we make or worst position our best and allocate resources into that. We have a young QB with potential. Let's get him a run game and make pass rushing our strength. That's what I've done here. No reason we can't allocate our resources into LB to rush the passer in our scheme. This would be no different if we were a 4-3 team with no DE and this money. We would go spend our money on DE who can get after the passer. I spend draft picks and FA money on OLB and draft interior OL in later rounds and sign a FA RT at 4 mill a year and draft a power back who can receive out of backfield in round 3. This offseason could get us to .500 an one more offseason building other position strengths can get us to playoffs. Groves is a guy i keep for bottom depth ands ST No problem with Graham, Morgan, Beasley, an Harrison as our OLB And it's very attainable
IsntLifeFunny
No one is yet to tell me why we shouldn't spend 16-18 million on pass rushers. That would leave us with 26 million before cuts, which is plenty to go after McCourty, a WR, and a couple mid level guys for 3-4 mil a year.
