Opus74
It's gone from the ridiculous to the absurd. Team Irvin & Team Carter? Really? Really??? Not even decent Football-like Substance.

nine
I watched maybe five minutes, and had to turn it off. The Pro Bowl has never been great football, but at least it used to be somewhat watchable. Last night's game was little more than a glorified walk-through.....guys going through the motions of playing football, but at low impact and with minimal contact. In the 8-10 plays I watched, I saw maybe two or three instances where a player actually ended up on the ground. The rest of the time, defenders would just reach out and grab at the ballcarrier...and upon getting grabbed, the ballcarrier would give himself up and lean into the defender until an official blew the play dead. It could not have been more obvious that the game didn't matter at all and players were simply going through the motions. Perhaps there are a few fans who don't mind the dog-and-pony show, and just hoped for a final glimpse at their favorite players. If so, then mission accomplished. But fans who hoped to see something resembling actual football with just have to wait until next week.

Tim
Best pro bowl hit was actually Blain Bishop taking off Brent Jones head. In the end zone. Him and Young were pissed. Those were pro bowls worth watching.
