Two 5-6th round ILBs.

Pick Analysis: "Whether it's a medical issue or the diluted sample in Indianapolis, there's a reason why this guy with second-round talent is going in the sixth round. That's immaterial now. Jake Locker has been unsuccessful there. (New head coach) Ken Whisenhunt is inheriting him. He will have less patience with Locker if he struggles. Locker is on a one-year contract that might not be all 16 games. Mettenberger can make all the throws. He has a world of talent and has been in a pro system under Cam Cameron at LSU." -- Charley Casserly

Good to see that the Titans are interested in SILBs.  Brown and Williamson have been very productive in college, are high character leaders and both called signals.  Williamson had a very good combine, running the short shuttle better than both Barr and Mack.

Always liked Williamson, but thought he was pegged as a 7th-UDFA.  Maybe that was pre-combine.  Was hoping to snap him up for camp and see what happens.

Also need to add Old Dominion Kicker Jarod Brown to the "very interested" category, per Jim Wyatt. No workouts or interviews reported though.

Interesting. Can you find it anywhere online? Not saying I don't believe you, but sometimes these guys tend to misspeak on live TV.

Couldn't find it online. Someone else on the board mentioned it as well. I asked Wyatt and he hasn't responded. I guess it'll come out eventually.

Also interesting that the article says "The TitansBrowns and Vikings are three teams very much in the hunt for a quarterback at some point early in the draft, and all of those teams pick in the top 11."

Hopefully it's a ruse and they're not really going to pick one at 11 imo

Ruse by whom? It's just the writer's opinion. They're not reporting some information from a source.

I'd say it more about covering our bases in case Carr drops into the later 1st, early 2nd round where they could make a play for him. Not sure what the "ruse" would be. Wasting our time talking to a QB prospect just to do what? Who are we going to trick? Make some team ahead of us jump on him in the top 10 because they know we might take him?

That's not how it reads to me, but I could be wrong. I took it as more of him hearing that the Titans are looking for a QB early.

I don't think Reo was saying it's a ruse on Carr, but he was hoping that it's a ruse we're considering a QB at 11.

Bryan Fischer is the author in this case and he's writing an article framed around Daniel Jermiah's video. In this case I take it as color and context in the article, not a report. I believe the Titans will do their due diligence on a number of the quarterbacks including Teddy Bridgewater, Carr and some others, but I do not believe this means that they are necessarily looking to take a quarterback early.

If Carr is there in the second round, or later in the second round if they trade down, would he be an option? Certainly a possibility - but I think this is simply a matter of preparation. During the draft you have to be prepared for any number of scenarios.
