Stfu If you follow college football like most fans do then you undoubtedly have a handful of favorite players you want to see on your team and that's what I'm asking And to answer your question we would need to lose a lot more than we will to be in position to draft Maye.
-
If it's a QB and I am assuming Williams is gone then I pray the team makes a play to move up for Drake Maye. I think he is special. If it's not a move for a QB then I can't help but get excited at the thought of either Brock Bowers at TE, Kool-Aid Mckinstry at CB, Chop Robinson at EDGE, or Emeka Egbuka at WR

Titans Draft Northwestern OT, Peter Skoronski 11th Overall
kyle021 replied to SirLanceALot's topic in Titans and NFL Talk
I just don't see how people can be upset about drafting an elite LG prospect at 11 especially consider the team signed a LT in FA as well as a starter at RG in Brunskill all the while the player they drafted at 11 can easily step in day 1 and be the teams starter at LG, or RT for the next 10 years. Hell just because his arms are shorter than the average LT it is just assumed to be fact that he can't play there... I can almost guarantee you that Skoronski can play LT just as good as he can OG for us and the only reason he won't be starting off at LT this year is because he doesn't need to considering they signed Dillard prior to the draft, and for this season he can help even more by playing LG If the team drafted someone such as a DT or WR and they end up busting and Skoronski was available and turned out to be the best OG since Nelson or one of the leagues best OT's then the board would have a meltdown. Also they could a drafted a WR or what not instead but what is the point of getting a WR or TE at 11 if you don't have the OL to provide time to get him the ball? Building your team from the trenches first is what smart teams do. This was a great pick -
Rumor: Tannehill offered to ATL in Trade Up
kyle021 replied to titanskick8851's topic in Titans and NFL Talk
I think it makes sense to trade RT for draft capital in 24 I'm sure they could've landed a deal to trade him during round 1 of the draft after taking Skoronski if they were 100% sure they could have landed Levis. I also believe RT woulda been traded to ATL had Houston went with Richardson and the Cards make a swap at 3 with us for Stroud In the end we will start RT and if he has an amazing year we can always extend him or tag and trade him. If he blows chunks or is average while we lose then we make the switch. Levis will most likely have a rookie year similar to Josh Allen's rookie year. -

I agree. I think he can be a solid RT and an upgrade to NPF day 1. That's not a stretch to say the least. He had a down year. There was a reason he was viewed as a second rounder prior to this year. As far as what I believe his best position is and where he will pay at the highest level he can is the RG position and I believe he can step in day 1 and start and lock down that spot for the entire season and gpimg forward with above average play. Athletic OTs who don't project to be future cornerstones in the league have always most often than not turned out to be average to above average starting OG's at a minimum. The selection of Duncan reminds me of a pick that Floyd Reese and fisher would make when drafting OG's and I can only remember maybe 2 or 3 that didn't work out. Give me Ski at LT and Dillard at LG and along with Brunskill at C and Duncan at RG and NPF at RT with Radunz being the swing OT and Brewer the backup C and Levin the swing OG
-
Duncan was viewed as a late 1st to mid 2nd rounder going into this last season. He had a down year. He can actually be a dominant RT or even RG with proper coaching and scheme. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up staying at RT over NPF after a few weeks into the season if NPF has a rocky start. I also wouldn't be shocked if Duncan started at RG and the team went with Brunskill at C and used Brewer and Levin as the swing IOL with Radunz the swing OT

He will be the LG unless they fuck around and take Torrence at 41 and end up putting Skoronski at C
-
However if Porter is still available you waste no time taking him
-
A few scenarios I would like to see 41 - Michael Mayer - TE 72 - Rashee Rice - WR 41 - Keion White - OLB 72 - Tyler Scott - WR 41 - Johnathon Mingo - WR 72 - Sam Laporta - TE

The addition of a stud LG on the OL with the addition of Dillard at LT over Daley, and Brunskill at RG would make me feel a ton better compared to last year. If they land a solid #2 WR such as Rice/Mingo/Tillman and a TE like LaPorta/Kraft/Musgrave then I would feel like our offense would have potential to be in the #12-16 standings range. Defensively we really just need another ILB to go with AAS who we signed in FA along with depth at OLB and DL then we should be right back to being an elite defense -

Titans Shopping Derrick Henry, per Mike Silver
kyle021 replied to Jonboy's topic in Titans and NFL Talk
I would ship Henry to someone such as Philly so he can get a ring while we rebuild, and get a 3rd rounder for him. He gets a new contract and a chance at a ring and we get a 3rd rounder. Could even make the argument to then take Robinson at 11 and a pass rusher, OG and receiver with the 2nd and two 3rd rounders A combo of Robinson at RB, Rice at WR, Mcdonald at OLB and Wypeler at Center would make this a much better football team this year and going forward than holding onto Henry for one last season -

It would be a fun trade to discuss if they moved Henry for a 2 or 3, and attempt trading back to 18 where they could take a Hendon Hooker and grab Gibbs and a TE such as Washington with the 2 second round picks -
A package of our pick at 72 and a conditional 4th in 2024 that can turn into a 3rd in 2024 draft for the 49ers pick #101 and Trey Lance That allows the 49ers to move up 29 picks in the 3rd and gives them a 3rd rounder next year if Lance meets the conditional requirements. It gives the Titans a QB with big time upside without spending any draft picks on one this year allowing us to use our picks to address big holes at WR, IOL, EDGE while also giving us more comfortability in trading back to accumulate more draft picks to fill even more holes instead of being in a position where we feel we need to get the QB this year. They could also end up sending RT to a team such as GB, LV, TB, WAS for a 3rd this year and even a 3rd in 2024 in addition to the 3rd this year. In that scenario it would open the door for TN to trade back with a team such a as Seattle who could move up for an OL/CB/TE after taking a pass rusher at 5 giving the Titans pick #20 plus a 3rd in addition in this year's draft. They could fuck around and end up getting a 3rd this year for RT, as well as Seattle's 3rd this year from swapping 11 and 20 plus giving us 2 extra 3rds next year in a draft deep at QB. Titans could end up getting an EDGE like Nolan Smith at 20 and then getting Hendon Hooker in the 2nd followed by a trio of players such as Luke Wypeler at C, Johnathon Mingo at WR and an OT like Steen or Bergeron in the 3rd Go into this year with Hooker/Lance at QB and some major added talent to the OL and WR's and have a couple extra mid round picks in next year's draft in the event we find ourselves in the top 10 and trying to make a move to get in the top 2 picks
