EDGE is a top 3 position. Its more valuable and harder to find. It will always be more important.

The 49ers under Shanny/Lynch drafted a lot of pass rushers and WRs in rounds 1-3. I expect the same with Carthon running the show.

EDGE is almost always a need over WR no matter how well stocked at either position.

I've read that and it's lazy. Being in on unbalanced sets isn't the same as playing RT in normal formations.

Latham is more likely maybe even Fuaga. Alt is a pure LT the Chargers have no need for.

Thats just it.... nearly every team is building toward competing for a superbowl at this point in the season. Its more about having a starting QB on a rookie deal than it is swinging for the fences.

He's never hit peak Tannehill but his floor has been higher and he's been way more consistent for a longer period of time. He's also had multiple big playoff games.

@ctm already answered. This idea the Texans are going all in for a superbowl instead of just taking a swing to get better is silly. It's April. All 32 teams plan to compete for the playoffs and ultimately a superbowl in the Fall. This isn't the NBA or MLB where rebuilds take years.

It's hilarious how many never learn their lesson. The jags were entering a superbowl window before last season too... the Texans have a ton to prove before anyone puts texans and superbowl window in the same sentence.

They are a prime candidate to trade back as well. They have a ton of options. For months some have said the draft doesn't truly start until #5 and I agree.

I'm saying they aren't getting a 1st for any trade down scenario unless McCarthy is on the board and teams are desperate.

Its a crazy good scenario for the Titans. 1-3 are a lock to go QB and 4-5 already have young established LTs or in the case of the cards, a future LT playing RT in Johnson. You couldn't ask for anything more picking #7 and needing a LT. Now the draft just needs to play out the way its expected to.

Alt doesn't fit the Chargers at all. If Harbaugh gets his way, Latham makes way more sense at RT. I'd also argue the new GM came up with the Ravens and they never spent premium draft capital on non LTs even though they want to play power football. I think all the Alt to the Chargers talk is just plain lazy.
